My Story
Rebekah Blanton Webb
I am originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. Performing with my family's quartet all over North Carolina in weddings, churches, and orchestras was a large part of my musical experience as a young person.
In high school I received my first teaching position at the Master's Musician School of Music in Waxhaw, North Carolina. Working with young people and seeing them succeed due to my influence helped me to determine that I wanted to pursue a career in music.
While in college, I performed with the Gardner Webb University Orchestra and the Salisbury Symphony. I also took a music teaching position at Mountain View Christian Academy in Cowpens, South Carolina. After graduating with a degree in sacred piano, I married and moved to Graham, North Carolina.
I continued to pursue my musical career and attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, College of Visual and Performing Arts where I received a Master of Music in violin performance. After graduation, I accepted a position as music instructor at Alamance Christian School in Graham, NC. I also opened a local downtown music studio.
I currently live in Burlington with my husband and children. I teach violin and piano lessons in my private studio and perform for special events.
